This is only the preliminary archive of the entries in the Healing Circle for August and September.
I have set up this file now because I don't want to lose any entries, which will happen, once I am not able any longer to make the transfer from the "real" Healing Circle" to the archives.
This the latest state of the "Healing Circle" is where you can add your comments, not here.
Hope that's not too confusing - Eberhard

Comments: | Dear Eberhard, Rosmarie tells me how you are going through difficult moments with admirable courage and serenity. It is in such times of life that the character of people appears. You are showing clearly, beautifully, that you belong to the few who have this inner feeling of beyond, that gives strength and peace. You are great Eberhard. I am very much in thought with both of you. With love, Annette |

Comments: | Hi Eberhard...I read where you are getting weaker by the day...Yesterday was an amazing day which brought so many nations together and so many nations fractured. Many friends across the world called to tell me how sorry they are about the terrorism attacks. How fragile life is from moment to moment. We are but specks of glittering sand on the stars. I pray you are not in pain and that you will just fall asleep. My brother, my dancing bear...love and hugs, Otter |

Comments: | Lieber Eberhard, mit Erschütterung habe ich gestern von deiner Krebserkrankung erfahren, habe dein Public-Health-Vermächtnis "The state of public health. |

Eberhard, I want a visit too and I have seen your footprints elsewhere...you don't always cross where it is safe...but what the heck... Love to you and to your dear ones. Kas |

Comments: | EW, in completing your cycle of life in this heroic and yet completely human way you remain what at heart you always will be - - an extraordinary man and an inspirational and compassionate teacher. May your departure be posponed for as long as you wish to remain with us. And please leave a space at the table for those who must follow and who'll be looking for your footprints by the river to show us where and how to safely cross. Hey and don't forget to drop by from the other side in due course for a personal visit... I expect the method will beat Quantas coach and I'm sure you'll quickly figure out how to circumvent all the rules against it :) |

Comments: | Dear Eberhard Ironic that you wrote the first book on the Body and Society and know so well how the body is both enabling and a liability. When the body turns nasty on us, it limits our capacity to express the spirit and display the energy but it never actually stops the soul from being. Your soul will be around forever whether you are embodied or not. We will continue to communicate with YOU (sans a body) even beyond the time when our own existence becomes disembodied. love always Liz |

Bleibe wach! Peter |

Comments: | I just sent this out to Eberhard. Swami Beyondananda has always reminded me a little of Eberhard...So for those of us who fluctuate between teary eyes and giggles at the drop of a thought - 10 Ways To Drive Your Karma & Curb Your Dogma: Swami Beyondananda's Guidelines for Enlightenment 1. Be a Fundamentalist - make sure the Fun always comes before da mental. Realize that life is a situation comedy that will never be canceled. A laugh track has been provided and the reason why we are put in the material world is to get more material. Have a good laughtsitive twice a day, and that will insure regular hilarity. 2. Remember that each of us has been given a special gift - just for entering. So you are already winner! 3. The most powerful tool on the planet today is Tell-A-Vision. That is where I tell a vision to you, and you tell a vision to me. That way, if we don't like the programming we're getting, we can change the channel. 4. Life is like photography. You use the negative to develop. And, no matter what adversity you face, be reassured: Of course God loves you, He's (you're) just not ready to make a commitment. 5. It is true. As we go through life thinking heavy thoughts, thought particles tend to get caught between the ears, causing a condition called truth decay. So be sure to use mental floss twice a day. And when you're tempted to practice tantrum yoga, remember what we teach in Swami's Absurdiveness Training class: "Don't get even, get odd." 6. If we want world peace, we must let go of our attachments and truly live like nomads. That's where I no mad at you, you no mad at me. That way, there'll surely be no madness on the planet. And peace begins with each of us. A little peace here, a little peace there, pretty soon all the pieces will fit together to make one big peace everywhere. 7. I know great earth changes have been predicted for the future, so if you're looking to avoid earthquakes, my advice is simple. When you find a fault, just don't dwell on it. 8. There's no need to change the world. All we have to do is toilet train the world, and we'll never have to change it again. 9. If you're looking to find the key to the Universe, I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is - there is no key to the Universe. The good news is - it has been left unlocked. 10. Finally, everything I have told you is channeled. That way, if you don't like it, it's not my fault. And remember, enlightenment is not a bureaucracy.... So you don't have to go through channels. |

Comments: | Dearest Eberhard and Family, I wrote this note the other night when I read the healing circle news. I sent it to your mail address and then later realized you may not be using that account at present and I need to say ...not goodbye...but fare thee well. I want you to know that as long as I live, whenever I think about Public Health I will be thinking of you with fond memories and admiration for all you have done - and all you will continue to do, by virtue of your work and your words. You will live in my heart and continue in my teaching. I am sad for myself and for the loss your family (and indeed, the world) will feel until we all adjust to you being present in just our hearts and our minds. You know it is a truly amazing thing you have done - your departure on the great adventure will impact people all over the globe. Not many people have that kind of effect. I hope you can take time to absorb and savor the things of this earth - the colors of sunrise, the sounds of birds, the smell of the earth after a rain, the touch of those you love. I know in my heart you will trancend these earthly delights to a full appreciation of the universe that will be stunning in its joy. Savor the transient senses of the earth and know you are beloved of many. The Ship I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails in the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch her until at length she is only a ribbon of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!" Gone where? Gone from my sight From: "The Ship" by David (Mickey) Marcus in "Jewish Insights on Death and Mourning" edited by Jack Riemer with a forward by Sherwin B. Nuland. NY: Schocken Books, 1995. Comments: | Dear Eberhard and Rosmarie, we're glad you're continuing the Big C-report with the recovery period: it gives us an idea about how you're doing, without e-mailing direct, which would add to your chores. We realise it will take time to recover from the therapy and hope you continue to get better and stronger every day. We think about you two and have started to save for Australia in 2002. All our love. |
